FACES and PLACES Exhibition Launch

As part of the 50:50 celebrations marking 50 years of the twinning relationship between Derby and Osnabrück, photographer Ray Gumbley will present Faces and Places, an exhibition bringing together his photographic work developed across Derby and Osnabrück.

Launch Event Details:

In a previous project at Artcore’s Cabin Fever in 2021, Ray spent a month documenting Osnabrück Square through the eyes of its local workers and residents, as well as the everyday life in the neighbourhood. Through portraiture and public engagement, the project reflected on memory, place, and community, culminating in an outdoor exhibition across the square and a collective time capsule of public contributions.

The exhibition Faces & Places expands this ongoing archive and invites the public to become part of it.
