Face Off is an open call to artists and an art show to focus on the beginning of the upcoming carnival season! We'll be doing things a little differently this go, and this show will be interactive as well, with tiered-voting on your TOP 3 FAVORITE entries. The collective average winners will receive a "carnival prize" from The Twisted Anchor Crew at the end of opening night. The main theme of the show will be masks. This could mean that you're painting portraits with masks covering their faces, or this could mean that you're painting an actual mask. We're open, and we want you to feel like you have control over what you're creating! Be interpretive and creative...just please be sure to follow all of the specs listed below! Costumes encouraged but not required. ðŸŽOpening night is Thursday, January 29th at 6:30PM. Stop by for some art, hors d'oeuvres, and drinks.
***OPEN CALL TO ARTISTS***
Please be sure to thoroughly check the specs for entries.
***IMPORTANT FOR ENTRIES***
--The cut-off date for entries will be Tuesday, January 27th during our shop's regular business hours. (11am-9pm)
--All entries must be hanging-accessible, preferrably by a hanging wire.
--All entries must fill out the proper form at the front desk before turning in your piece
--All entries must be between 8x10 to 36x48
