About this Event
With UK Fungus Day on the 8th October, come and join us on a guided walk of the reserve to celebrate all fungi, big and small.
This walk will take us on a journey around the unique reserve where you can learn about the many weird and wonderful species of fungi living on your doorstep.
Please feel free to bring along a packed lunch to enjoy at the reserve after our walk.
Ideal for beginners and enthusiasts alike.

What to bring/wear
This event takes place outside so brace yourself for the Yorkshire weather! Sturdy footwear is always recommended. Snacks and plenty of fluids.
Note pad, pencil and a camera might be handy.
Toilets and catering
There are no toilets or catering facilities.
Joining us on the day
Meet at the reserve entrance.
Parking
Free parking.
Disabled parking access.
There are wheelchair friendly paths from the car park to the nature reserve and to Marsh Hide, a RADAR key is required by wheelchair users at the nature reserve entrance.
