FABULOUS FALL CONCERT: TCHAIKOVSKY TO BEAUTY AND THE BEAST
From Tchaikovsky to a medley of songs from Beauty and the Beast, our Fabulous Fall Concert will leave you humming. Enjoy a lovely evening with the Los Angeles Lawyers Philharmonic and its chorus, Legal Voices, under the baton of Founder-Conductor Gary S. Greene, Esq., at the historic Barnum Hall in Santa Monica. Two of composer Leonard Bernstein's most loved works will be featured: the popular Symphonic Dances from West Side Story and one of his most awe-inspiring pieces, Chichester Psalms. You will also adore Bizet's Carmen Suite with the triumpant "Toreador Song." Choral Director Jim Raycroft will lead Legal Voices in a fun a cappella arrangement of a spirited African folk song called "Wana Baraka." Highlights will also include the popular love song, "Moon River," Tchaikovsky's Marche Slave and Leroy Anderson's "Bugler Holiday." And the finale will showcase popular songs form one of Disney's most beloved musical films, Beauty and the Beast. You'll be humming tunes like "Bonjour," "Be Our Guest" and the title song, "Beauty and the Beauty." So, let these musically talented lawyers, judges, law students and legal stuff entertain you with a program that everyone is sure to enjoy.
CONCERT TICKETS are $20 to $90.
50% of the concert ticket price is a tax-deductible donation benefiting the Beverly Hills Bar Foundation, LA County Bar's Counsel for Justice and the LA Lawyers Philharmonic. All are 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations.
PARKING is available at the Civic Center Parking Structure (across the street from the auditorium) located at 333 Civic Center Drive, Santa Monica.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER-CONDUCTOR
Gary S. Greene, Esq., an attorney for nearly 50 years, is a violinist and conductor. He earned his BA summa cum laude from UCLA in 1971 and was awarded membership in Phi Beta Kappa. He received his JD from Loyola Law School in 1975. Greene is also the conductor of the Jr. Philharmonic, the acclaimed young people's symphony orchestra founded in 1937 by his late uncle, Dr. Ernst Katz. Maestro Greene was named the 2010 Person of the Year by the Metropolitan News-Enterprise for not only entertaining the legal community but also for having done much to unify it. He was recognized as "A Man with a Briefcase and a Baton -- the Only Lawyer From Whom Judges Take Direction." In 2012, Greene was presented with the prestigious Board of Governors Award from the Beverly Hills Bar Association.
