Fabrication 2 Class, Five Weeks
Building on techniques learned in Fabrication 1, students in Fabrication 2 will be practicing the basics of hand fabricating and soldering. Fabrication 2 will cover wire forming, work hardening, annealing, basic ring construction, soldering and bezel setting a stone. Students will create a variety of patterned wire and make several pieces of jewelry including cuff and bangle bracelets, band or stack rings and a bezel set stone ring.
Fabrication 2 is taught by Julie Sanford; Fab 1 is a prerequisite for taking Fab 2. Class fee of $275.00 includes all materials and use of studio tools and supplies. Fabrication 2 is a prerequisite for Open Studio classes or Independent Studio hours.
Two Sessions are offered:
Afternoons from 1-4pm or
Evenings from 6-9pm
