Fabric Collage & Mini Textile Art

For Teens and Adults!
In this hands-on workshop led by Upscale Textile Artist, Mahdiyyah Muhammad, participants will explore storytelling and self-expression through fabric. Using a variety of discarded fabric scraps, participants will create their own mini textile artwork, either as a simplified portrait or an abstract collage.
This workshop introduces participants to the creative possibilities of fabric reuse while encouraging experimentation with color, texture, and composition. No prior sewing or art experience is required. This is a beginner-friendly space designed for both teens and adults.
Participants will leave with a finished piece of textile art and a deeper understanding of how everyday materials can be transformed into something meaningful and expressive.
