Curious about studio photography, modelling or the creative side of fashion? Come along to the FabPhotography Open Studio Day and see what happens inside a working photography studio.
Whether you’re a photographer, aspiring model, designer, stylist or simply interested in getting involved, you’re welcome to drop in, explore the space, meet people and ask questions.
What to expect
📸 PhotographersBring your camera and experience a studio environment. See different lighting setups in action, photograph our models and ask questions about studio lighting and working with models. No studio experience is necessary.
👤 Interested in modelling?Come and meet Jodi and Rachel, who will be modelling throughout the day. Jodi is an experienced model and will be happy to chat about getting started, posing, building a portfolio, working with photographers and what to expect from a photoshoot.
👗 Designers & StylistsCome and explore the studio, meet photographers and models, and chat about potential future shoots, campaigns and creative collaborations.
💡 See the studio in actionThere will be photography and lighting demonstrations happening informally throughout the day, so there is no timetable to worry about. Arrive whenever suits you and stay for as little or as long as you like.
No experience necessary
This is intended to be a relaxed and welcoming Open Day. You don’t need a professional portfolio, modelling experience or previous knowledge of studio photography.
Come in, look around, ask questions, take some photographs and discover opportunities to create something new.
