Acopia specialises in songs of loneliness and isolation. Their lyrics delve into the inability to cope with daily life, exploring themes of dissociation and emotional strife, yet they make these profound anxieties feel intimate and intense.
They’ve shared the stage with artists like 𝗕𝗮𝗿 𝗜𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮 and 𝗧𝗶𝗿𝘇𝗮𝗵. Fans are drawn to their signature blend of energised lyrics and downtempo sound, balanced by a natural sense of restraint and melancholy.
Acopia's third album, 𝐵𝑙𝑢𝑠ℎ 𝑅𝑒𝑠𝑝𝑜𝑛𝑠𝑒, arrives September 12 on Scenic Route. They are coming to Fuchs2 a few days later for the first time on Wednesday, September 24. As support, we invited Mad Velvet, the solo project of Madhouse Express frontman Maxmilian Hruška, where he blends introspection with playful experimentation, an evocative counterpart to Acopia’s restrained melancholy.
