Everyone should be able to enjoy a fun, inspiring, and comfortable visit to Newport Aquarium! 💙✨Join us for Family Inclusive Sensory Hours presented by Shriners Hospitals for Children. These monthly events provide a sensory-relaxed environment that is accessible and safe for all guests, including those with Autism, PTSD, dementia, anxiety, and other sensory sensitivities.
What to expect during your visit:
👥 Lower capacities for a calmer atmosphere
🎵 Softer music levels and limited microphone use
💡 Reduced lighting throughout the aquarium
🧘 Additional calming areas if you need a break
🐾 Special animal encounters
🗺️ Sensory level guides for touch, sight, and sound for each exhibit
Helpful Resources: Noise-canceling headphones and fidgets will be available at no cost on a first-come, first-served basis to be borrowed during your visit. 🎧
Member Information: All Members qualify for complimentary admission!
Silver & Pre-K Members: Reservation required.
Gold & Platinum Members: Reservations are highly recommended due to limited capacity.
