F-16 Production and Flight Test in Greenville

The ASME Greenville Section and the AIAA Carolina Section invite their members and guests to an exciting dinner program on the evening of Tuesday 14 October. The guest speaker will be USAF Lt. Col. (ret) Chris Nations (call sign “Sasquatch”), F-16 Chief Test Pilot and Lead Production Pilot for Lockheed-Martin Corporation in Greenville.

Chris Nations is a 2004 graduate of the US Air Force Academy with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. He also earned a Masters Degree in Flight Test Engineering from the USAF Test Pilot School. He served as a USAF officer for 20 years flying both the F-16 and the F-35 before retiring and joining Lockheed-Martin in 2024. Chris’s talk will touch on his experiences throughout his Air Force career and with Lockheed-Martin.

The venue for the event is the Greenville Tech Student Success Center at 506 S Pleasantburg Dr in Greenville. The evening will begin at 6:00 PM with check in and meet-and-greet, followed by a delicious buffet dinner provided by Greenville Tech Catering Services. The formal presentation will follow the dinner at approximately 7:00 PM.
