If you've ever been curious to learn more about the research that goes on here at the Reserve, our new guided walk is for you! Eyes on the Estuary: A Visit to the Research Marsh will offer participants a deeper dive into the various field research projects underway along the trails and out on the salt marsh. We'll learn about the impacts of invasive plant and crab species, restoration of the endangered New England Cottontail, and participate in hands-on water quality monitoring. Your guide, Gail, is a retired marine biologist and high school science teacher, and a current Wells Reserve volunteer. Free with admission. Preregistration is required at [email protected], (207) 646-1555 x1110. Learn more at wellsreserve.org/event/79288/eyes-on-the-estuary-a-visit-to-the-research-marsh
