Come celebrate the opening night of Stay Curious Artist's newest solo exhibition at Loohoo!

This collection is filled with whimsical, food-inspired artwork celebrating recipes, collecting, and the little joys that bring us together. You’ll find original acrylic paintings in a range of sizes—from affordable, easy-to-take-home pieces to larger interactive works that invite you to become part of the exhibition.

One returning favourite is the Raccoons Trading Trinkets piece! Bring a small trinket or curious object to trade with the raccoons and leave with a new tiny print. It’s been one of the most-loved parts of Stay Curious Artist's previous exhibitions, and we can’t wait to see what everyone brings.

There will be:
• Original & interactive artwork
• Affordable art prints to brighten your home
• Brand new themed sticker packs for anyone looking to take home a tiny piece of art
• Live acoustic music by Ali Khan of Bare Mans
• A chance to meet the artist, chat, and connect with fellow art community and makers

The exhibition is hosted at Loohoo, a charming gift shop filled with handmade goods and creations by local artists and makers. It’s the perfect place to browse, connect with your community, and celebrate creativity together.

Admission is free, but an RSVP is appreciated so we know how many people to expect.

Accessibility

Loohoo is located on the ground floor with step-free entry. A washroom is available on the same level, however, it is not wheelchair accessible. Please note that the entrance doorway is relatively narrow (25 inches) and may not accommodate all wheelchair sizes. Can’t make the opening?
The exhibition will remain on view throughout August during Loohoo’s regular opening hours (Thursday–Sunday), so you’re welcome to stop by anytime to experience the artwork, browse the shop, and explore the food-themed products and gifts available during the exhibition.
