The band fuses Evans’ sculptural trumpet vocabularies with Eldh’s hyperactive bass playing and Jim Black’s volatile rhythmic outbursts. The result is a kinetic, shape- shifting sound world where every moment is packed with risk and surprise. Each musician pushes the others into new terrain: Evans fires compressed bursts of sound or labyrinthine melodic spirals, Eldh loops, twists, and distorts the pulse, while Black triggers acoustic and electronic ruptures that defy easy categorisation.
