Exterior Siding, Windows, Doors: Carpentry Intensive
A building starts to become a home when it is closed in and protected from the elements. In this intensive, students will learn how to install exterior siding and properly fit windows and doors, with a focus on weather protection, function, and finish. This workshop covers key exterior details that affect durability, efficiency, and appearance, while building confidence with practical carpentry skills that apply far beyond tiny house construction.
A strong workshop for students who want to better understand exterior building systems and gain useful experience applicable to sheds, cabins, additions, and full-size homes.
