Extension Master Gardener(SM) February Speaker Event

This year the Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Association of Carteret County is proud to bring Matt Collogan to the Crystal Coast Civic Center to talk to us about how we can bring nature home. He will focus on creating a pollinator habitat in residential settings. It's not as simple as planting a few native plants. There's more to it than just the plants, other practices are just as important including providing water, shelter and a space safe from harmful pesticides.

The doors open at 9:30 for those who want a cup of coffee to warm up with and to get a seat up front. The Extension Master Gardener Volunteers will also have some garden gloves for sale and there will be a limited number of native plants to give away after Matt has finished his presentation.

Come early and bring your gardening questions to ask some of the Extension Master Gardener Volunteers.
