Expressive Portraiture with Charcoal,' is a workshop where participants will review the fundamentals of charcoal portraiture. Participants will learn techniques for capturing likeness through expressive marks and a painterly approach. Attendees will use a photographic reference of themselves or someone else and follow simple steps to define light and shadow, proportions, from general shapes to finer details in order to achieve a loose but well-defined portrait drawing.
