Enhanced Training: From Temperament to Character; What to do with the Truth

Principled Decision Making Training is an increasingly robust personal growth Framework for Life regardless of your age, education or socio-economic situation.

In Fundamental training (the first 3 sessions), you learned to use the framework to practice 1. clarity of mission, 2. building character strength, and 3. making principled decisions with the help of a partner & online community for accountability.

In Enhanced training, you'll use your understanding of the relationship between your temperament & character to create your Authentic Leadership Sheet and a Self-Feedback Tool for increased accountability for personal growth to close your 'authenticity gap' as well as continue to practice the fundamentals you learned in the first training to do so.

In this training you'll:

• gain an understanding of the relationship between temperament and character necessary to achieve authentic leadership.
• learn how to skillfully close your authenticity gap.
• benefit from scheduled practice time of the fundamentals to achieve competency.

Results:

• Contrary to common belief, leaders are not born, they are built. You'll have a language, process, and metrics to achieve your best self in a concrete way. No more second-guessing. Peace results.

What do you do next?

Register and schedule the time necessary in your calendar. The format is 8, bi-weekly, 2-hour, small group sessions on the first and third Fridays of each month. Enhanced training is available twice a year from February to May and October to January.

Some Thoughts...

Leadership strength is not temperament, it is character. There's no such thing as a born leader. Leadership isn't a genetic trait. Leadership is for the many, not the few...

Every person has a temperament (born with) and character (built over time). It’s the fundamental reason why every person can be a strong leader if they have 1. a desire as well as 2. resources like this training to make building character and becoming an authentic leader possible.

This program is for successful leaders that want to build leadership strength and a committed community.

The main obstacle to creating a committed community is simply a lack of strength, which creates trust & connection.

More Thoughts...

Billions have been expended every year, for decades, on leadership and the needle hasn’t moved... After 25 years, We've figured out why.

Leadership is not a technique, temperament or shiny objects (i.e. financial, athletic or academic or spiritual success), it’s character. These things can be helpful to leadership though.

Why? People don't want to follow a technique, etc., they want to follow an authentic leader.

The hard truth - you have to grow personally, not just focus on growing your business while you remain unchanged. The same goes for using better and better technology or processes and not growing as a person at the same time. Since your temperament comes from nature and is part of your biology your default is to lead with it instead of your character. Learn how to change it.

I know this flies in the face of what many of us were taught (including me), but deep down, you know what I've shared above has truth to it. It took me a long time to figure it out and I would take great pleasure in being your shortcut. I'm happy to chat further with you.

Let's end with this:

Authentic leadership is the answer to the riddle of the purpose of your life. Don’t lead a boring life. Boring is all you have to be to be a ‘good person’. You were made for more. Herb Kelleher, Walt Disney, St. Mother Teresa were good people and so much more. Why? Because they served their purpose. They were authentic leaders instead of just being good. Authentic leaders started by being good first.

Leadership is character. The greatest leaders have the greatest character. Character connects and is authentic.
