About this Event
Expressive Painting Series: Seascapes, Sunsets & Self-Expression (6-Workshop Course)
Join artist Ruth Egon at Liberation Art Gallery in Brighton for a relaxed and inspiring 6-week creative journey exploring painting, printmaking, and expressive techniques.
Inspired by the colours, movement, and atmosphere of the sea and sky, this beginner-friendly series invites you to slow down, experiment, and reconnect with your creativity in a supportive environment.
Across six sessions, you’ll explore a range of processes, including ink, gouache, silk painting, and expressive printmaking, all designed to encourage freedom, play, and personal expression. No prior experience needed.

Flexible Course Scheduling
At Liberation Art Gallery, we believe creativity should fit around your life, not the other way around.
Unlike many traditional courses, our workshop programmes are designed with flexibility in mind. Rather than committing to the same day and time each week, participants can book a course package, and we'll work with the group to coordinate sessions around availability wherever possible.
We recognise that work schedules, caring responsibilities, health needs, and everyday life can make it difficult to attend a fixed weekly class. By offering a more adaptable approach, we're able to make our creative courses accessible to a wider range of people and reduce some of the barriers that can prevent participation.
Our aim is to create a welcoming, inclusive learning environment where people can develop their creativity in a way that feels manageable, enjoyable, and sustainable. Whether you're returning to creativity after a break or fitting art around a busy life, we're here to help make it possible.
