About this Event
Spring Break Art Camp! Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:30pm
Express Your Art is a hands-on creative experience designed to ignite imagination, build confidence, and foster connection among young artists ages 5β12. Through painting, drawing, and mixed-media projects, campers are encouraged to explore creativity, express themselves, and create in a supportive, encouraging space.
What to Expect Each Day
- Guided art projects alongside open creative time
- A calm, supportive environment that encourages curiosity and self-expression
- Opportunities to connect with peers while creating meaningful artwork
All art supplies are provided, and no prior art experience is necessary. Please provide your child with a packed lunch and a water bottle each day.
Drop-Off & Pick-Up
Parents or guardians will be responsible for daily drop-off and pick-up during camp hours. Additional details will be shared with registered families prior to the start of camp.

Early Drop-Off Policy
Info: Please arrive no earlier than the scheduled drop-off time. Early drop-offs are not permitted, as staff may not be available to supervise campers before camp hours. We appreciate families honoring the schedule and the time of our staff.

Drop Off and Check In
Info: Daily drop-off includes a brief check-in process to ensure the safety and well-being of all campers. Parents or guardians will sign their child in each morning, and staff will be present to welcome campers and help them transition into the day. Safety protocols are followed throughout check-in to create a secure and supportive start to each camp day.

Sketchbook
Info: Sketchbook time: The class will be given a prompt each day. This space is focused time for your child to be reflective, check in on how they are feeling for the day, and evaluate if they need anything. It also helps to settle them for our transition into our daily art project for the day.

Daily Art Project
Info: Daily Art Project: This will be different each day of the week. It will also be tied to our theme of Art Camp. Lessons that will be taught will be color theory, shapes and form, texture and patterns, composition and balance, drawing basics, 3D art and sculpting, perspective, art appreciation, self-expression, collaboration, and creativity. We make drawing robots, a fully written and illustrated storybook by them. We play many games to get the wiggles out. We believe kids are full of energy therefore we have an amazing playlist going and random dance parties are welcomed and encouraged. We aim to meet your child where they are and get to know how they are wired.

Lunch
Info: We will provide light snacks throughout the day. Please send your child with a packed lunch and a water bottle. A microwave and refrigerator will be available for lunch storage and heating as needed.

Outdoor Creative Play
Info: Campers will enjoy outdoor recess time each day, featuring movement, creative games, and imaginative play. This time allows kids to get fresh air, move their bodies, and connect with peers in a fun, supervised environment.

Big Art Project
Info: We aim to bring patience and persistence into our Art Camps. The second half of class each day is focused on a large art project. We have done paper mache, created moving robots, and community art murals, built a model of a city and garden that was 3D, and create art from recycled material.

Music and Art Hour
Info: Each day includes a dedicated hour of music woven into the creative experience. Through listening, rhythm, and creative movement, campers explore how music influences mood, imagination, and artistic expression, deepening their connection to the art-making process.

Outdoor Movement & Play
Info: Campers enjoy a 30-minute outdoor break focused on movement, fresh air, and imaginative play, providing a fun and energizing balance to creative time indoors.

Clean Up
Info: Our clean-up song is βEye of the Tiger.β We put it on and have a blast cleaning up our mess for the day. Each day a child is chosen to be a leader of the different clean-up areas (putting supplies away, wiping tables, sweeping the floor, shutting down the art station tables). They are given a team and work together to complete the task.

Closing Circle & Connection
Info: Each day ends with a 30-minute closing circle where campers come together to reflect, share, and connect. Through light conversation and creative reflection, campers have space to talk about their day, celebrate their artwork, and end camp feeling grounded and supported.

Pick-Up & Release Safety
Info: For the safety of all campers, children will only be released to parents or guardians listed on the registration form. Authorized adults may be asked to show identification at pick-up. Staff will remain on site during pick-up to ensure a smooth, safe, and supervised end to each day.

Late Pick-Up Policy
Info: Please plan to pick up your child on time at the designated end of the camp day. Late pick-ups will result in a fee. We ask families to honor the time and responsibilities of our staff by arriving promptly for pick-up.
