Join a community of individuals for this FREE ONLINE psychoeducational relationship skills workshop. This workshop is hosted by Connect Couples Therapy, PLLCa private practice specializing in helping couples repair, heal, and restore connection. Offering in-person therapy in Charlotte, NC and Carefree, AZ or online therapy for clients living in AZ, FL, NC, SC, and TX.
Karen Naegel, LMFTA will teach you to identify your attachment style and learn how that manifests in your relationships.
During this 50-min interactive online workshop, participants will embark on a journey of self-discovery, exploring their own attachment style and its implications on their relationships. The workshop will combine educational content, group discussions, and experiential exercises to create a comprehensive learning experience.
Key Objectives:
1. Understand Attachment Theory: Gain a solid understanding of the fundamental principles of attachment theory, including the four main attachment styles (secure, anxious-preoccupied, dismissive-avoidant, and fearful-avoidant).
2. Identify Your Attachment Style: Learn to recognize the signs and characteristics of different attachment styles, and apply this knowledge to gain insights into your own attachment style. Reflect on how your attachment style influences your relationships and interactions with others.
3. Explore Personal Growth Strategies: Discover practical strategies and techniques to promote personal growth and create healthier attachment patterns. Learn how to foster secure attachment and develop more fulfilling relationships.
Couples who are not appropriate for this course*:
- Couples in severe relationship distress.
- Couples experiencing significant emotional or physical abuse.
- Couples experiencing serious emotional or mental health problems.
- Relationships with serious compulsive behavior with gambling, sexual acting out, and other disruptive behaviors.
*Should the presence of these situations be discovered during the class, a referral will be made for individual or couples therapy.
Once you register, you will be provided a Zoom link. By registering, individuals agree for the course to be recorded for internal review by the staff of Connect Couples Therapy.
