Join graduate student Caleb Krueger at MSU’s Kellogg Bird Sanctuary on Saturday, May 30 for a fun, hands-on program all about Michigan turtles. Designed for upper elementary and middle school students, this 1.5-hour session includes building turtle habitats, tracking turtle movements, meeting live turtles, and exploring how scientists in the Janzen Lab study turtles and their environments. After the program, families can enjoy self-guided crafts, play, and story time in the Overlook. • May 30, 2026 from 2- 3:30 p.m.
• Upper elementary and middle school students
• Free for members; admission for non-members: $6/adults, $5/seniors and students, $4/children ages 2-17
• Registration is suggested but not required
