About this Event
Alpine cheesemaking includes some of the oldest cheeses in the world. For centuries, dairy farmers have turned milk into cheese as a way to preserve it for lean winter months, resulting in some of the best cheeses you can find. Rich, dense, and full of flavor, these beauties are incredibly complex and incredibly delicious. Join us for an evening learning all about what makes alpine cheeses so amazing. You’ll sample outstanding high-altitude examples from the French Jura, Italian Alps, Swiss pastures, and elsewhere, paired with equally fantastic beers from IndieFerm. It’s sure to be a delicious adventure. The hills are alive with alpine cheese pairings!
