Join us at Dragonfly Gong Yoga of Sound for an unforgettable launch evening Exploring Sound Healing on Thursday, October 9th at 7:00 PM at The Loft Studio, 2nd Floor, The Exchange 1856 in North Shields.

This session will launch my brand new weekly get togethers I am calling "Playtime for the Soul."

This is an adventure journey through and with sound using movement, Sufi whirling, voice, breath work and musical instuments. We will "find our voice" with chanting, vocal toning and singing. We will explore and get to know a vast range of musical instruments for sound healing including Gongs, drums, flutes, singing bowl, tuning forks and so much more.

This hands-on experience will leave you feeling rejuvenated and connected on a deeper level. And we will all grow and share together as a communtiy.

These sessions are aimed at all people and especially creatives, teachers, artists, singers, musicians, writers, dancers, performers and all those wanting to delve in deeper with sound work and enhance their own meditation practices or help you create a practice.

Each week we will venture on a new journey through sound to give ourselvds the 'tools' of sound as medicine. There will be mini sound baths and you will lern how to deliver sound healing as well as receive it for yourself.

We will explore how our brain states drop down deep through this therapeutic practice. It all helps promote holistic wellbeing and encourages the body's own natural healing processes to work in harmony and balance.

So come along and alleviate any stresses and anxiety, improve sleep patterns and foster a deep sense of calm and well being. Plus make new friends.
