About this Event
Join Gowanus Canal Conservancy Senior Education Manager Jen Kepler at the Lowlands Nursery to explore life in the Gowanus Canal. We will look at marine habitats for fish, crabs and other invertebrates. We won't ignore any other cool wildlife sightings; we may also see some notable birds and insects using the uplands and infrastructure surrounding the Canal for habitat.
Explore who calls this waterway home and add your findings to iNaturalist for City Nature Challenge.
If you wish to participate in City Nature Challenge, please download iNaturalist (a free app) on your smart device, create an account and start practicing with it before this program.
This event is free to attend, registration is required.
