Exploring Color

Develop a deeper understanding of the properties of color through a series of fun and addictive color projects. Working in a variety of materials, learn to mix color, identify properties which affect color and explore the interaction between colors and how they change according to their surroundings. In a very short time you will learn how to replicate color accurately from life and bend it to reflect your own personal interpretation. This class functions as a great introduction to color and painting for the beginner as well as providing a solid base for those looking to improve their own artwork.The class will be taught in our beautiful, light filled studio in The Indian Orchard Mills. We have been running classes there for about 6 years now and have put a lot of love into the space with large work tables, an abundance of materials and organized storage, and a two 15 foot critique and display shelves. The studio is about a 1000 square ft. and has excellent light.

This class runs on Thursdays for 6 class meetings: October 17, 24, 31, November 7, 14, 21.
