About this Event
Join us for an engaging, hands-on workshop on functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (fNIRS) with NIRx fNIRS devices, suitable for both beginners and experienced fNIRS users looking to advance their brain imaging skills.
What you can expect:
- Hands-On Training: Learn how to set up your own fNIRS experiment and collect data using our state-of-the-art fNIRS devices, and learn about how to record fNIRS from participants with afro textured hair from our guest-speakers Abria Simmons and Gavkhar Abdurokhmonova from the LEAD lab from the University of Maryland.
- Innovative Research Talks: Hear from our team and from our invited guest speakers, Dr. Anastasia Kerr-German and Dr. Ted Huppert, how fNIRS is advancing fields such as hyperscanning, mobile and infant brain imaging, multimodal fNIRS, HD-DOT and BCI.
- Data Analysis Deep Dives: Explore essential techniques for preprocessing and analyzing your fNIRS data to maximize the impact of your research. Make use of the data analysis open office hours with our experts, Dr. Ted Huppert (NIRS Toolbox/Brain AnalyzIR) and Dr. Armin Heinecke (Satori), to get answers to your analysis questions.
Whether you're new to fNIRS or looking to expand your expertise, this workshop offers a focused blend of practical training and cutting-edge insights into various fNIRS application fields.
