Our movement class is designed to be a shared experience of joy, exploration, and physical development for your child. It relies on the active presence and engagement of the caregiver to be effective and safe.
Our Early Explorers & Me classes are designed to be a shared experience that strengthens the bond between caregiver and child while fostering early literacy and social-emotional development. Active and engaged adult participation is a required component of all classes.
1. Requirement to Remain In-Room:
The registered adult (Parent, Guardian, or Designated Caregiver) must remain inside the classroom for the full duration of the class. This is a mandatory safety and engagement requirement and is not a "drop-off" service.
2. Capacity of Adult Participation (The Active Role):
The adult's role is not one of passive supervision, but of an Active Learning Partner. Your participation is essential in the following capacities:
Model Engagement: You are required to participate in all songs, movements, and activities led by the instructor. By enthusiastically singing, doing the motions, and responding to questions, you provide a positive model for your child, encouraging their own full participation.
Bridge to Learning: Your presence acts as a familiar and secure anchor for your child. If your child becomes distracted, shy, or needs assistance transitioning between activities, you are the primary person responsible for gently redirecting, comforting, or helping them re-engage with the class.
Shared Experience: The adult’s active role turns the class time into a co-learning experience. Discussing the content of the class and repeating new words immediately after the class ends strengthens language acquisition and memory.
By actively participating, you help us create a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment that maximizes the developmental benefits.
