This is the 3rd in our series of Explorer Talks.Belinda's adventure revolution is starting to get noticed and 2017 she was named in The Sunday Times ‘Alternative’ Rich List which celebrates 40 people in Britain who lead “extraordinary, worthwhile and satisfying lives” alongside Sir David Attenborough, Virginia McKenna & Tunde Okewale OBE
Belinda's talk will inspire people of all ages to take on the impossible, and how to cope when things go wrong. Her focus is on the importance of goal setting, managing intimidating problems and daring to fail. It is Belinda’s belief that we are capable of more than we think we are: adventure has given her the ability to tackle problems that seem monumental and she will share her tools on how everyone can do the same.
She will also speak about how she originally built her resilience and coping mechanisms through relatively small adventures in the UK. Expect inspiring tales of adventure: including becoming the first woman to row around Great Britain (acknowledged as the most difficult ocean row completed, only 15 people have succeeded in history) but also building confidence on small adventurous challenges in the UK.
