About this Event
What skills and opportunities will shape the next generation of careers?
Join us for an engaging evening designed for parents and teens to learn about emerging opportunities in AI, tech, and entrepreneurship.
Hear from leaders across education, innovation, and the startup ecosystem about how young people can explore these fields and begin building real-world skills today.
Parents will gain insight into how to support their teen’s curiosity and future career interests, while students will discover opportunities to explore their ideas and projects through programs like the Youth Creativity Fund (YCF).
Through YCF, youth in Waterloo Region can apply for microgrants of up to $1,000 to fund creative projects—whether that’s starting a small business, building a STEM project, exploring tech, or creating initiatives that connect people around shared interests.

Parents and students can ask questions about education pathways, opportunities, and getting started with their own ideas.
