Step into the rich and mystical world of Tarot in this immersive, hands-on class designed for beginners and for those ready to deepen their relationship with the cards. Whether you’re drawn by curiosity or seeking to build a confident, grounded reading practice, this course offers the tools, context, and intuitive guidance needed to read Tarot with clarity and purpose.
Together, we’ll explore Tarot as both a practical system and a living symbolic language. The class weaves together the structure of the deck, the history behind it, and the intuitive skills that bring readings to life. You’ll work with the Minor Arcana—learning how the four suits and court cards reflect everyday experiences, choices, and patterns—while also developing practical reading skills through guided exercises and group practice.
Alongside this, we’ll examine the origins and evolution of Tarot, tracing its journey from historical roots to its modern role as a tool for insight and reflection. The Major Arcana will be explored as a continuous narrative of growth and transformation, introducing the 22 archetypes that map the human experience. Emphasis is placed on symbolism, meaning, and learning how to engage these archetypes intuitively rather than relying on memorization alone.
Each session includes in-depth teaching, open discussion, and hands-on practice, with take-home exercises to continue your exploration between classes. There is ample time for questions, reflection, and mentorship with Dave, who brings more than 30 years of experience reading Tarot.
Tarot is more than a deck of cards—it is a mirror, a map, and a conversation. By blending historical understanding, symbolic literacy, and intuitive practice, this class supports students in developing an authentic and confident approach to reading Tarot, for themselves and for others.
