For winter 2024-2025 I have decided to set up a series of local events to explore waters that are in our own backyard. If you haven’t paddled any of these places and are curious about what is close by for paddling, bring your paddleboard, kayak, or canoe and join us for a few hours….
We’ll start this one early for a winter paddle, gotta kick off the New Years Day the right way! We’ll paddle from White Settlement Trailhead Park down to Panther Island in downtown Fort Worth, and then paddle back. This round trip is around seven miles, and it is probably one of the top inner city paddles of DFW. Since there are areas of forest, groomed parkland, and downtown views, this paddle has something for everyone. I heard rumors of mimosas and breakfast tacos, but we’ll see if the right people can show up for this!
