Let’s explore the city center of Catania by bike! In this exclusive tour in English, we will discover a route that allows you to safely travel around the city center of Catania using cycle paths and bus lanes.
From Teatro Massimo to the train station, from via Etnea to the seafront: together with other people living in Catania, you will see the city from a different prospective and learn the main tricks to go from A to B safely on two wheels.

✨ A fun adventure, 90min ride on flat and safe tracks with many breaks
✨ Meet other foreigners and Sicilians living in Catania
✨ Gain confidence on a bike using a safe route
✨ Aperitivo together at the end of the tour
Bikes, rollerskates and e-scooters are also welcome!
Book your ticket until May 8th at midnight, after which registration will close.

🕕 Meeting time: Thursday, September 17th, 2026, at 17:00. End of the tour at the same spot around 19:00. Please be on time!
📍 Meeting point: in front of Teatro Massimo, piazza Vincenzo Bellini, historical center of Catania.
💡 What to bring: comfy clothes and flat shoes, a water bottle, helmet and yellow jacket if you have one.
🚲 Rent a bike: if you do not own a bike, you have the possibility to rent a bike at the nearby shop Center Tourist Catania (Via Antonino Mancini, 18). You should take care of it autonomously: write to the shop on WhatsApp to reserve a bike at 16:30 in order to be on time for the start of the tour at 17:00. Rental typically costs around 15€, to pay onsite.
🛴 Rent an e-scooter: if you'd like to try out the Lime e-scooters, we can test them together before the start of the tour. Make sure to arrive around 16:45 and to have the Lime app already downloaded on your phone.

The ticket price includes the guided tour and the detailed map I will share with you after the trip. The aperitivo is not included in the price and each participant will take care of their own drinks. Rental of a bike or an escooter is not included in the price.
Kids under the age of 15 are welcome for free under the responsibility of their parents and with their own bikes, as the shop cannot rent children’s bikes.
