Exploration Ride to Bishop Fiorenza Park - Brays Bayou Trailhead

Join us on this adventure ride to Brays Bayous trailhead which will take you all the way to Herman Park / Museum District in Houston. We will keep this ride at about 35 miles round trip - we will not ride all the way to Herman Park, but will show you the best (for gravel bikes) way to get to the Brays Bayou from Cinco Ranch / Katy.
❇️Gear needed: a well working gravel / cyclocross bike (need a tire 35mm plus); a helmet; two full water bottles, bike lights. Class 1 or 3 e-bike (no throttle!)
❇️Fitness needed: ability to ride 35 miles with few stops (half of that on gravel) and ability to tolerate heat.
❇️Pace: 13-14 mph.
❇️What to expect: we will meet at the shop, will ride on Buffalo Bayou trails to the levee, then to Westheimer Rd, through small neighborhood road to Bishop Fiorenza Park and enter Brays Bayou trail network to show where it is and how to get there. Then we'll ride around Bishop Fiorenza Park and will head back on the levee and through GBP to the shop.
