The River Stour offers a unique mix of history, nature, and gentle adventure. On this canoe and camp trip, you’ll paddle along peaceful waterways, past historic mills and landmarks, with stunning countryside views at every bend. Highlights include:
Constable Country – paddle through the landscapes made famous by painter John Constable.
Historic waterways – explore navigation routes and the Langham Flumes.
Wild camping – stay overnight by the river or choose local B&B accommodation.
Professional support – our qualified canoe and kayak coaches will help you build skills and confidence on the water.
This is an ideal introduction to multi-day canoeing and kayaking in Suffolk.
Price: £199 (secure your place with a £50 non refundable deposit) option to book camping and food for an additional £50.
Shuttle: Once we have completed the meet and greet we will then run the vehicle and trailer to the end for the loading
Example Itinerary – River Stour Canoe & Camp Trip
Day 1 – Saturday - Meet the team and shuttle downstream). Paddle back along the River Stour to the campsite, with time to explore, relax, and enjoy dinner. Overnight riverside camping or optional B&B stay.
Day 2 – Sunday - Continue your journey downstream, past Flatford Mill and Constable landscapes. Paddle through gentle rapids and historic waterways before finishing closer to the coast.
