Welcome to the second of our PADU Experience Peel Paint Outs, at the picturesque Ravenswood Hotel (or anywhere in the Peel region).
Located on the banks of the Murray River, the Ravenswood Hotel is renowned for its idyllic setting, great food and friendly atmosphere. You will find plenty of interesting, picture perfect subject matter for your plein air masterpiece!
Only a 50 minute drive from Perth (turn left at Pinjarra Road freeway exit). The Hotel will open at 11am for coffee, and then followed by lunch - so why not stay for a meal; choose from the delicious menus or take advantage of the WEDNESDAY SPECIAL - STEAK DAY (half price) - your choice of Porterhouse or Rump served with chips and your choice of sauce.
HOW TO EXPERIENCE PEEL AT RAVENSWOOD HOTEL:
Pre-requisite: You need to be a fully registered PADU artist to paint at any Plein Air Down Under event between 23 - 30 September, including Experience Peel Paint Outs.

1. Ensure painting surfaces are stamped with the EXPERIENCE PEEL stamp. A stamping station will be set up from 8.30 - 10.00am where you will also receive two didactic price cards, and a festival program.
2. On completion, take a photo of your painting with the subject in view.
3. Deliver up to two Experience Peel paintings to the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre by 9.30am Saturday 27 September. Ensure didactic price cards are attached. Experience Peel paintings are to be UNFRAMED to create a “fresh from the easel” feel however watercolours and pastels can have a matt board and protective cellophane.
4. Cast your vote for your preferred Experience Peel painting by 3pm, Saturday 27 September (when you hand in your painting/s, you will be given a voting slip).
