Expedition Crawlers Scale Trail Day

Hello all! We’re back at it again for August with another trail run. This one isn’t an endurance run but we’ll still be going a good distance!
Come join us for a day of scale adventures, recoveries and photos at the lovely White Clay State Park in Delaware. We’ll be parking and setting up camp near the entrance of the Lenape trail off of Possum Hollow Road. The address will take you to the entrance of the park then you follow the gravel driveway back to the meeting location. Can’t miss us! We’ll have an Expedition Crawlers tent set up right near the rock pile.
Schedule:
11:00AM- event begins and the crew will be setting up the convoy.
11:45AM- drivers meeting and checking out each others trucks.
12:00PM- we leave for the trails! Expect somewhere between 1.5 and 3 miles roughly through the woods and clearings of White Clay and the Delaware countryside. (Were predicting this to take about 3-4 hours most)
3:00PM-4:00PM- we’ll be returning to the parking lot to have free runs on the rock pile In the lot. Their will be gate markers set up on the rock pile but their will be no official comp.
4:30PM- we say thank you to everyone and have our closing ceremony.
The Expedition Crawlers staff will be out at the event helping recover trucks, acting as trail guides and doing photography/video.
Keep in mind, as all other Expedition Crawlers runs this will be “NO HOG” meaning once we leave the parking area for the trails, no touching your truck unless you have to change batteries or repair. There will be event staff acting as “recovery trucks” for the event.
If anybody would like to help set up for the event we’re looking for volunteers to help come out early, mark trails, Marshall trucks, do recoveries, and set up gates at the rock pile.
Please reach out to any of the event hosts if you or your group is interested in helping out.
BE ADVISED THAT THE LISTED ADDRESS IS THE ONLY ADDRESS NEAR THE EVENT. This address is for one of the properties across the street from the parking lot entrance. There will be a temporary sign at the entrance pointing you to the parking area. please please please DO NOT attempt to park on one of the private properties and parking in the grass is not allowed on sight. There is a parking lot and other gravel spots to park.
