Last January, after dancing for 13 years, calling myself for an advanced/professional tango dancer I went to my second home, Buenos Aires, and there I was working only on my weight change, on its travel from one place to another. In tango we never stop being beginners so attending a class for one, isn’t a sign of a defeat. On a contrary, it is a sign of a progress!
I invite you to our Tango laboratory- a place where true beginners meets the ones who danced for long but are still searching for more.
Our real beginners (who have the class before the laboratory) always stays for the second class to learn the difficult stuff, yet so accessible for them. Like that we break the wall between the beginner and the advanced. Like that we create more equal and accessible tango society.
Each week we study something different. Here is a list of some topics:
-be a milongera/ milongero! Change your attitude and never again beg for tanda/ or sit during one. Own the floor and your shoes.
-body awareness. From where does the lead come from? We lead not from the head but from the body. Let us use it!
-music, lyrics,orchestras
-movements, steps, spirals,
-body awarness
-communication, mirada
-embrace
-walking
-waltz, milonga
After classes we shall hit the floor and dance til 2300 during @esamilonga.

ABOUT THE TEACHERS:
I am from Poland and Fredrik is from Sweden but our hearts were crafted in Argentina. We have been dancing since 2012 and will do it forever! Patrycja will " polish" your tango and Fredrik will make it "sweed".
Patrycja lived in Buenos Aires, danced in Europe and now is teaching in Oslo. She is the organizer of Kristiania Tango Festival and Milonga Esa. She will teach you tango and introduce you to Argentinian culture since her heart belongs to Argentina.
Fredrik has danced for many years and not only he teaches very well but he has plenty of tango stories and dry jokes to share with you.
As Fredrik always mentions: we are not a couple, we are just friends who loves teaching tango together! We assume that since u want to dance tango, you like to hug people. For us tango is more about friendship and passion than about drama and being « proper». Join the party and find a tango dancer within you!
