Lucha Fantastica is the unique, the spectacular, the one & only Mexican Wrestling in Australia!
With two spectacular shows:
FAMILY SHOW: 1pm
With more than 10 masked Luchadores in a show packed with acrobatics, action and a pinch of comedy! Tacos and followed by a piñata party for kids!
ADULT SHOW: 6pm
A special show packed with acrobatics, action and a poquito of comedy with more than 10 masked Luchadrores, tacos AND followed by our infamous Tequila party with Mariachi and live music!
For those who have experienced Lucha Fantastica before, you may know what to expect but one thing is for sure, this will be a very extravagant fiesta!
For those who haven’t experienced Lucha Fantastica before, you can expect:
• Mexican folklore!
Luchadores and Enmascarados (masked wrestlers) doing a combination of sport, entertainment and dramatic storytelling all rolled up into a flamboyant display, wild and highly flying insanity.
• A combination of various fighting techniques like wrestling, judo, jujitsu, grappling, kickboxing and boxing. It is a mixture of all these combat art forms blended with the elements of soap opera, dramatic storytelling, physical comedy, incredible athletics, suspense and intrigue.
• Beautiful ‘Chicas' dancing and doing different kind of performances
• Expect ‘suicidas’ (suicide moves), ‘desnucadoras’ (power bombs), ‘patadas voladoras’ (flying kicks), ‘filomenas’ (spin kicks), ‘quebradoras’ (spinning back breaker), ‘tapatias’, ‘huracarranas’ and ‘manita de puerco’!
• More than Mexican Wrestling and more than a Mexican fiesta
And... special limited tickets for our VIP Tequila Masterclass!
We will talk about all things agave, difference between tequila and mezcal, agave plants, Aztec mythology, Mexican history, production process and more! All while sipping to top shelf Agave distillates (Includes 5 x 15ml shots and entry to the show of course!)
The Collingwood Town Hall will be transformed into a Mexican Wrestling Arena for this show!
