MATT MALONE & THE HOLY SPIRITS
Matt Malone is an iconoclastic singer-songwriter from the Victorian goldfields, Australia. Malone is known for his bold baritone and tenebrous lyricism, often compared to Nick Cave, Glenn Danzig and Johnny Cash. He has shared the stage with Kim Salmon (Beasts Of Bourbon), Hugo Race (Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds) and played Sydney’s massive King St Crawl ‘26, carving out a cult following through his intense and visceral performances.
In 2023, he released the critically-acclaimed For The Term Of My Natural Life (VRS Records), followed by Made In The Image, Vol 1 featuring I’m Bad Like Jesse James shared by the John Lee Hooker estate.
He’s joined by The Holy Spirits featuring James W. du Plessis on drums and electric slide guitarist Benny “The Gentleman” Mac. In 2026 the band performed at The St. Kilda Blues Fest and supported legendary post-punk band The Sacred Cowboys.
Matt Malone & The Holy Spirits completed recording with Loki Lockwood (Spooky Records, The Drones, Spencer P. Jones, Harry Howard) and released the single Wolfman on Halloween ‘25 followed by Jealousy on Valentine’s Day ‘26.
Matt Malone & The Holy Spirits channel their unique brand of delta blues, outlaw country and post-punk spiritualism - delivering live performances as much firebrand ritual as rock n’ roll show.

THE WRAYLETTES
Spreading the musical gospel of the great rock'n'roll guru, Link Wray

Formed in late 2017, The Wraylettes mix up a rockin’ cocktail of Link Wray’s better-known numbers and more obscure gems, plus a couple of originals inspired by the great man. Rather than slavishly reproducing his songs note by note, they put their own sassy spin on his music, while staying true to his untamed spirit. It gives them enormous satisfaction to turn unsuspecting audiences onto Link Wray’s music, or to encourage existing Link fans to revisit their records and delve deeper into his seemingly endless back catalogue.

The Wraylettes have supported touring artists such as The 5678s, King Brothers and The Stompin’ Riffraffs from Japan, Lord Rochester from Scotland, The Jackets (Switzerland) and Australian legends The Beasts of Bourbon and The Cruel Sea (with whom they toured the east coast in 2023).
In June 2025, they released their four-track 7" EP Wraydioactive! and will have a new release (a double A-side with another local band) later this year - stay tuned for more details...
