Meter and Medium: A Visual Festschrift of Anders C. Shafer’ on view Sept. 8th through Oct. 1st.
Fall semester kicks off with a new exhibition titled ‘Meter and Medium: A Visual Festschrift of Anders C. Shafer’ opening to the public on September 8th!
We're excited to host this exhibition as it highlights the legacy of Anders C. Shafer, a local storyteller, poet, painter and professor emeritus of art at UW-Eau Claire.
'Meter and Medium' curated by Anna Zook, arts librarian in McIntyre Library, includes drawings, paintings and writings by Shafer, accompanied by works from former students Tim
Seeley, Andrew Ritchie, Frank Zetzman, Lynn Zetzman, Barry Krammes, David Knowlton, Mary O’Leary, Rebecca Crowell, Cameron Anderson and Marc Zapchenk.
