Dear photographers! Together we have been through the different stages of the photo process. We've thought, planned, discussed, photographed and edited. Now it's time for the last stage - exhibition of your pictures!!<3
Bring your friends, family and dear strangers to an exhibition of our photos and the paintings from the painting group in an afternoon filled with art! We will have some snacks and something sparkling to drink and just have a great time.
We gather 1 hour before the official start time, meaning we expect you to show up at 3 pm, to find the best setting for your prints and prepare the room.
Logistics:
- Send us your picture/pictures at 23.59 14th of November the latest
- Send your photos: You can either send the photos using WeTransfer or put them in a Google Drive map and share access to that map with our e-mail: [email protected].
- The pictures will be printed at Uppsala Fotografiska Kompani, professionally, and us leaders will bring the finished prints to Kalmar the day of the exhibition
- The cost will be 25 kr. That includes 1 x [30x45 cm] and 3 x [10x15 cm], so be aware that photos with different ratios than 2:3 will result in smaller prints.
- If you wish to exhibit more photos, the additional cost for large size print is 108 kr and for the small size print it's 5,5 kr.
- You have to have at least one large size, i.e. you can't "trade" the standard package for lots of small-sized ones and no large print.
What do you have to think about when choosing and sending us the photos?
- Make sure the file format is either PNG or JPG
- If you edit in Lightroom/Photoshop export the picture with a setting of 300 ppi
- Because of the print size, make sure the large picture isn't any smaller than 3000x3000 pixels
- Rename the picture file as: size_fullname_picturenr, for example large_hanna_1. (If you want multiples of the same picture, for example all the small ones, name that file small_fullname_123)
- Choose any photo/s you're happy with, it doesn't have to be a photo you've taken with us
- Unfortunately we can only accept digital photos, but if you know how to develop and print analogue photos yourself, you are more than welcome to do that and bring your own print/s to the exhibition.
- Do you get to keep your own print after the exhibition?

- For those of you who want to, we will have a table set up for selling the small pictures of your choice.
