Join us for the highly anticipated exhibition 'Salt Lakes in Silk', with Opening Event on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 2pm. This captivating exhibition showcases the unique talent of publicly acclaimed photographer Eamon Wyss. His new works celebrates the fusion of nature, art and fashion, where the ephemeral beauty of Victoria's salt lakes is captured and reimagined in the luxurious form of silk scarves. This unique collection transforms abstract drone photography into wearable art, offering a multi-sensory experience.
You are invited to enter a world thoughtfully designed to reflect the serenity and grandeur of the salt lakes. Silk scarves are suspended gracefully throughout the gallery, creating an environment where the natural beauty of the landscapes is juxtaposed with the elegance of the fabric. The draped silk creates fluid, dynamic forms that evoke the ever-changing nature of the lakes themselves.
As an artist, my aim is to bridge the gap between art and everyday life, allowing people to experience the magnificence of nature through a medium that is both intimate and accessible. The scarves are designed to be worn and cherished, transforming a wardrobe into a walking art gallery. Through Salt Lakes in Silk, I hope to inspire a deeper appreciation for the natural world and the artistry that can emerge from its delicate landscapes.
