Gallery 2| Biomorphism – Penny Bennett
Delicate, living-like forms crafted from stitched, recycled paper and animated with subtle electronic movement. Penny Bennett’s work merges traditional craft with technology to explore sustainability and the unseen beauty of nature, inspired by scientific illustration and the biodiversity of our region.
The Vault| Home Bodies – Ana Daniels
Textile sculptures fused with industrial materials interrogate the politics of domestic space and queer experience. Bundaberg-born artist Ana Daniels transforms familiar comforts into uncanny forms, asking how softness can persist in the face of rigidity and what joy exists in the gaps between social structures.
