The Gaston County Public Library, the Gaston County Museum of Art and History, and Seventh Art Productions are proud to present Exhibition on Screen: Turner and Constable. This program is FREE to the public and intended for adults.
Born within a year of each other – J.M.W. Turner in 1775 and John Constable in 1776 – these great artists used landscape painting to reflect the changing world around them and to bring landscape to the forefront of art for the first time. Celebrating the 250th anniversary of their births, TURNER & CONSTABLE is the unmissable new feature documentary exploring Turner and Constable’s intertwined lives alongside the groundbreaking Tate Britain exhibition.
