An ecosystem is the totality of plants animals bacteria and fungi in a specific environment with an intensive relationship between soil water and atmosphere. Humans and non-living components such as the weather also play a role. It essentially fluctuates around an equilibrium and has a self-healing capacity.
The resilience of ecosystems can be overtaxed causing them to be disrupted collapse and transition into another less complex system. The diversity in composition and the capacity for recovery change structurally. This can lead to large-scale damage or even the loss of ecosystems.
Severe widespread and long-lasting damage to nature will be the result. This also has consequences for humans. This project focuses on the imagination of ecosystems and the dangers when the balance shifts.
