Meet the Artist and tour this fabulous exhibit Feb 22 / 6 Pm - 9 PM Black Vibrations is a bold celebration and exploration of the complexity of the Black experience, history, and culture. This group exhibition of more than a dozen Black artists from different backgrounds and generations serves as a platform for the celebration of Black history at the MACC. Artists participating in this exhibit include Michael McBride, a Tennessee State University art instructor best known for his celebrated mural of the late U.S. Rep. John Lewis in downtown Nashville, Rod McGaha, a noted jazz trumpeter and photographer, and Tricia Townes, a Nashville-based artist whose practice includes the creation of socially engaged artworks.
