Exercism-Pilates Hour w/Keri - 7 pm Wednesdays at Spire in Oakland
The Power of BeeBoo Compels you! Alternative workout!
About this Event
In these group mat Pilates Classes with props and great music, Keri will meet you where you're at and train for mobility, stability, strengthening and release work.
All levels, all bodies are encouraged and welcome.
She can provide you with modifications or challenges as needed.
The props are to provide support, or challenges depending on what our focus is, proprioception, to create closed chain movements and unstable surfaces when needed to target more deep stabilizing muscles rather than the big movers.
The target is to show you ways to get to know your body better and learn to deepen your practice of movement, to find imbalances in your personal movement patterns and retrain into healthier, more mobile and efficient ones.
It's hard work but, it will be a lot of fun!

Message from Keri:
"I'm Keri, a comprehensively trained balanced body Instructor, working at EHS legacy studio in San Francisco, Ca, and I provide private sessions in Oakland Ca.
(mat, springboard, chair, arc, reformer, foot and gait and motor sensory training)
I am also trained on the Springboard and the CoreAline.
I am also a foot and gait and motor sensory training apprentice, under the mentorship of Nancy Myers.
I'm in ongoing continued education courses with other master instructors, including, but not limited to, Briggit Brunner, and Monique Convertito.
I am now offering sliding scale hour long group classes Wednesday evenings
(except 3rd Wednesdays), at 7:00 pm @ Spire Church in West Oakland, Ca."
Spire is located in a residential neighborhood. Building trust and mutual support in our community is of paramount importance! Any disrespect to our neighbors will exclude you to this and future events.
Attention! Parking is very limited on Athens Street. Bike, carpool, walk with friends, use Lyft, Uber, or public transit, and plan accordingly! Parking on Athens makes it hard for the residents—especially our elderly and disabled neighbors—to park near their homes. If you must drive, please park a block down on San Pablo.
