Until 10/15 years ago no one talked much about training specific for women.
The effects of the menstrual cycle and the period on exercising, training & performance was largely ignored and studies were usually conducted in men.
With the advent of speaking more about perimenopause and menopause and exercising, periods and the menstrual cycle also became more of a topic of discussion.
What do we know now? Rresearch is getting done and is still quite limited.
We'll discuss the facts and disepl some myths that have surfaced in recent years. We look at the evidence and compare that to real life experience.
You will come away from this workshop with a better understanding of how YOU can/should train around your menstrual cycle
I have coached women for nearly 13 years and previously worked as a healthcare provider and also in clinical research. This combined experience supports my combined approach of usined evidence based approaches witth extensive real life experience
