Exclusive Sneak Peek: Ken Burns' LEONARDO DA VINCI and Virtual Reality

Join PBS39 for Ken Burns' newest documentary about the innovations and creativity of luminary Leonardo Da Vinci. LEONARDO da VINCI looks at how the artist influenced and inspired future generations, and it finds in his soaring imagination and profound intellect the foundation for a conversation we are still having today: what is our relationship with nature and what does it mean to be human.

After the screening, Dr. Eric Hupe, assistant professor of art history at Lafayette College, will explore current innovations in bringing art to the public through his speciality, virtual reality.

Guests will have the opportunity to walk around a Renaissance space and view Italian frescoes up close through virtual reality, and learn about Dr. Hupe's unique entry point to opening up bigger questions about how we experience art and place, for all lifelong learners.
