EXCLUSIVE event! Afternoon Tea with Muriel Fahrion at The Montana Club

Join us at The Montana Club in Helena, Montana to celebrate Muriel Fahrion, the American artist and illustrator best known for creating the iconic Strawberry Shortcake character. She worked as a staff illustrator at American Greetings, where she designed the original drawings for Strawberry Shortcake and other beloved characters like the Care Bears and The Get-Along-Gang. Fahrion's work has made a significant impact in the world of children’s entertainment and collectibles, and she continues to create art and design, sharing her work through her studio, Outta Thin Air Studio

Muriel will share insights about her life and career with us during this special event. We invite you to submit any questions you may have in advance. A variety of tea will be served, accompanied by finger sandwiches, scones, and an assortment of baked treats. Following her presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to take a photo with Muriel and purchase exclusive merchandise. Additionally, Muriel will be creating a special drawing for the event and autographed copies of this artwork are included with your ticket purchase.

It is important to note that Muriel does not receive royalties from Strawberry Shortcake. While she was instrumental in the creation of the character and other famous 80's characters, as an illustrator for American Greetings, she did not retain ownership or royalty rights to the character. The rights to Strawberry Shortcake, along with other characters she helped create, were owned by American Greetings. That being said - ALL proceeds and donations will go to Muriel! Let's show her some love and pay her back for all the great memories she has given us!
